Before the start of the game day, a round table on the topic of International Relations in Sports was held at VK Play Arena. In the first quarterfinal esportsmen from Turkey (KaizokuLars) and Thailand (Norapat Patloars Lekitinunt) met, as a result of which Emre KaizokuLars Öztürk beat Patloars – 4:2.
Before the match for third place, the final of the cosplay fashion show took place. The competition featured two nominations:

In the match for third place Russian national team member Sergey Strog Platov showed an incredible game and won bronze at the BRICS Esports Championship powered by Sber. Sergey defeated the esportsman from Kazakhstan with a score of 4:1
More countries participated in the tournament this year, the opponents became more serious and stronger, and those who participated last year improved their level of play very well. Starting from the group stage, it was already quite difficult for me to compete. My main competitor, the Chinese XCC, was able to win again. Unfortunately, the game strategy I planned to stick to didn’t work. I chose Lars, but I don’t have much tournament experience playing him, I rarely choose him. Although I played him in the group stage, and everything was fine. I decided that I could continue playing this character, but nerves and excitement played their role, — shared Sergey Platov.
The final battle was between Emre KaizokuLars Öztürk (Turkey) and two-time winner of the tournament Zhoulin XCC Chen (China). The player from Turkey skillfully and worthily resisted the invincible Chinese warrior, but he failed to win (2:4). XCC became a three-time winner of the BRICS Esports Championship powered by Sber!
This time the tournament was very intense. The level of opponents has increased significantly compared to previous years. My strongest opponent was a player from Turkey (KaizokuLars), with whom I had the final match. Strog made a big mistake by choosing Lars, as this is the character I know well. If he had decided to play last year’s character Steve, then maybe I wouldn’t have beaten him. As for the tournament organization, it gets better and better every year, — shared Zhoulin Chen.
