Today, the first game day of the BRICS Esports Championship for Sber Prizes took place in Moscow. Esportsmen played the group stage up to three victories. From each of the four groups, 2 esportsmen reached the quarterfinals, who will begin the fight for the championship belt and the prize fund (3,500,000 rubles) on June 1. 41 esportsmen from 21 countries came to the tournament (Russia, Egypt, Algeria, South Africa, China, India, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Vietnam, Bolivia, Cuba, UAE, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, Uganda, Brazil, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Belarus). Russia is represented in the tournament by members of the national eSports team – Sergey Strog Platov and Vyacheslav caliber 7.62×39 Novikov.
